David Hoyle's Northern Lights (ft Growler & Niallist Pres)

Growler & Niallist are delighted to announce that we will be showing some films as part of "David Hoyle's Northern Lights", a celebration of David Hoyle's 25th anniversary in the business of show which will also feature the best in Northern British talent.



David Hoyle (aka The Divine David) is one of our all-time heroes, and in tribute to the great man we are going to be showing both Velvet Goldmine, in which he starred, and Magazine, a compendium of his more recent shows at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (as well some episodes of Nathan Barley and some clips from his C4 show The Divine David Presents).

So make a date for Sunday April 24th! The event will also feature performances from Liverpool's Gerry Potter (poet) and our good friend Zsa Zsa Noir, and there will be DJs from Club Brenda to help start the dance. The films will start at 9pm downstairs at the Star & Garter, before the live show starts upstairs at 11pm, and will continue through the night.
