The first part in my ongoing monthly series "The Noughties: WTF Just Happened?" is up now on Weaponizer. A look back at the music and pop culture of the decade we just left behind, the first part focuses on the year 2000. There's a lot of disco-pop going on, while somewhere in NY a scene is brewing.
The articles will cover one year at a time, from 2000 until 2010, and will be joined by guest articles form different writers looking at aspects of music and pop culture I may have missed out on. First guest is Weaponizer's own Bram Gleiben, who will be doing a two part look back at hip-hop over the past 10 years.
